Citrus Maids was founded in the summer of 2000 in Citrus County, Florida by              , first under the name of Joys Cleaning Service. With her business thriving, even during the economic downturn of 2008, Joy, focusing on her community, chose to change the name of Joys Cleaning Service to that of Citrus Maids. Joy still currently owns and operates Citrus Maids as a family run business.

In the subsequent years after it's inception, through consistently adhering to the core values of integrity, hard work and impeccable customer service, Joy has built Citrus Maids into what it is today. A vibrant and successful job creating business that continues year after year to be a positive and supportive influence in the Citrus County community.
